Summary
Crypto Albania (crypto-albania.com) is a static information website. You never need to register, there are no forms, and we do not collect names, phone numbers or financial details. We set no tracking or advertising cookies and use no analytics tools that follow visitors from page to page.
This policy covers both the Albanian and English versions of the site. We update it whenever something changes in how the site works; the date of the last update is shown above.
Server logs
Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider. When you open a page, the provider’s server automatically records technical data: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
The hosting provider keeps them for a limited period under its own policy. We do not use them to identify or track you, and we neither sell nor share them, except where the law requires it.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking, advertising or social-media cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own server, with no calls to third parties such as Google Fonts. If we ever add analytics that need cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Third-party requests
Our bitcoin to lek converter fetches live prices from two public services. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive the technical data any server sees: your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We send them nothing else, and the amounts you type into the converter are calculated inside your browser.
| Service | Used for | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| CoinGecko | BTC, ETH and USDT prices | IP, browser, time |
| open.er-api.com | Lek rate against USD/EUR | IP, browser, time |
Each service has its own privacy policy. If you never open the converter, none of these requests is made.
External links
The site links to regulators, legislation and crypto platforms. Once you click through, you leave our site and that website’s privacy policy applies. Crypto platforms in particular ask for personal data and identity documents (KYC) to open an account. You give that information to them directly, never to us.
When you email us
If you write to contact@crypto-albania.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to check any correction you suggest. We do not add you to any mailing list. Never send us passwords, seed phrases or identity documents.
Your rights
Under Albanian personal data protection law and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask for access to the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing and object to processing. In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold is any email you have sent us.
Send requests by email. If you believe your rights have been breached, you can complain to the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Personal Data Protection (IDP), Albania’s supervisory authority.
