1. What this site is
Crypto Albania (crypto-albania.com) is an independent information website about crypto-assets in Albania, published in Albanian and English. We are not a bank, an exchange, a broker, an investment adviser, a law firm or an accountant. We provide no financial services, hold no funds and execute no transactions for anyone.
2. Not financial, legal or tax advice
Everything on this site is general educational information. Nothing here is investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any crypto-asset, or legal or tax advice. Platform rankings and scores are editorial assessments under the methodology described on our about page, not a guarantee of any platform’s quality or safety.
Your circumstances are your own. Before any financial, legal or tax decision, consult a licensed professional.
3. Crypto risk
Crypto-assets are highly volatile. Prices can fall sharply within hours and you can lose your entire stake. There is no deposit insurance, and blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed. Platforms can be hacked, become insolvent or freeze withdrawals. Leveraged products such as futures can produce very fast losses. Only use money you can afford to lose.
4. Licensing in Albania
Law No. 66/2020 provides for the licensing of crypto platforms by the AMF (Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority). According to the government impact assessment of 13 May 2026, no entity has been licensed so far. None of the platforms we mention is licensed by the AMF, and MiCA licences held by EU subsidiaries do not cover Albanian residents. When you use an international platform you have no local investor protection. Details are in is crypto legal in Albania.
